Chief Operating Officer

Lee Calhoon & Co. The position will be located in Vero Beach, Florida. A generous six-figure salary plus equity will give us the ability to attract the very best professionals to this unique opportunity. 

THE POSITION
The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for managing the company on a day-to-day basis in such a manner as to reach or exceed the Company’s development plan; reach or exceed the budget and long-term operating plan; hire exceptional employees; establish excellence as demonstrated by the growth of MDS; and develop an effective working environment and team spirit. The Chief Operating Officer will also be expected to participate with the President & the Executive Vice President/CFO in the strategic planning and direction of the company. The COO will be responsible for the execution and attainment of such business objectives. Once the individual proves their worth and value they may be given the opportunity to become the President of the company.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ideally bring 10 years of senior management responsibility with particular emphasis in operations, sales/marketing and product development working for a $50MM to $100MM company in revenue cycle management or selling products/services to large hospitals and IDNs.

• A successful management track-record in a progressive service, technology, information systems or device organization that has contributed to and aggressively managed growth.

• Strategic entrepenurial orientation; strong organizational, problem solving, and management skills focusing on operations.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred.
