DIRECTOR OF NURSING, HOME HEALTH DIVISION
Directs patient care/department managers in the provision of nursing and patient related services in the Home Health Division. Interprets the philosophy, objectives, operations and policies, accomplished by sophisticated strategies of creative problem-solving, critical thinking, strategic planning, business development, marketing, team development and leadership. Knowledgeable of social, economical, legislative and legal issues affecting the health care system.
When performing role of Director of Nursing for Home Health, demonstrates the Core Values of the organization in interactions with patients families, medical and hospital staff. Practices Service Excellence and team commitment by displaying flexibility, compassion, respect, honesty, politeness and accountability when dealing with all customers. Maintains current knowledge of regulatory agency requirements and guidelines.
Analyzes the current healthcare environment (internal and external) to identify, assess and evaluate changes that could effect the organization; Collaborates in setting and implementing a strategic plan for Home Health Division to meet clinical care, quality and business objectives.

Business Development: Evaluates opportunities/need for new programs and/or service lines.
Evaluates program/service line based on service areas, payor mix, target segments and potential market share.
Develops Operational Business Development Plans with input from and collaboration with CFO, other product line experts, Business Development Department and physician leaders.
Develops program/service line operational plans to include needed proforma, marketing strategies and implementation agenda

Marketing: Evaluates and formulates marketing plan for divisional area based on the hospital mission statement and strategic plan.
Develops and implements methods to attract and maintain current customers.

Leadership: Where identified, assumes management responsibility for directing/overseeing service lines for the continuum and/or multiple sites.
Develops a collaborative effort between the Patient Care Division and the entire healthcare organization and medical staff in the areas of problem solving, risk taking and resultant change.

Finance: Acts as a resource to management and supervisory staff on all aspects of the budgeting process to include projections of volume, revenue, salaries and supplies.

Requires a California State Registered Nurse License. Three years recent experience as a unit manager of equivalent management experience. Master Degree/or in process of degree is required. Strong knowledge base or experience in specialty areas assigned. Minimum 3 years Home Health Nursing experience with 3 years Home Health Leadership experience.

ADMINISTRATOR, CLINICAL OPERATIONS (HEALTHPLAN)
The Administrator of Clinical Operations, with the Director Quality and Accreditation, is responsible the Managed Care Division’s Western Region’s lines of business and the non-plan California based clinical operations of Case Management, Pharmacy, Quality Management and Improvement, Complaints and Grievances, and Client Satisfaction.
  • Collaborates with disciplines in developing and maintaining Managed Care clinical programs.
  • Works closely with managers to facilitate adherence to plan operational standards and regulations
  • Responsible for Project Management related to clinical program, including UM, CM, QM and Grievance and Appeals.
  • Assures timely reporting of required data through the Quality Management Committees and contracting private and/or governmental agencies, e.g., California DHS-MMCD, Medicare CMS, etc.
  • Develops relationships with key internal and external providers in order to facilitate collaboration and growth of the managed care clinical programs.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) Knox-Keene Licensure regulations and operational requirements, California Department of Health Services (DHS) MediCal Managed Care regulations and operational requirements and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Advantage and Part D regulations and operational requirements.

Education and/or Experience
Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of California with a Bachelors degree in Nursing, Masters degree preferred or Registered Nurse with demonstrated comparable managerial and executive experience. Minimum five years experience in managed care (with an emphasis in Medicaid and Medicare managed care strongly preferred). Minimum 3 years experience in managed care administration.

V.P. SALES AND MARKETING
Oversee the Sales and Business Development efforts for the business unit.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Health/Administration or equivalent. 7 + years of experience in healthcare/insurance sales or with complex, consultative sales of programs/solutions to government entities. Experience with sales and business development activities in Medicaid/Medicare or public sector programs preferred. Master’s degree preferred. 
Responsible for developing new market initiatives, assessing new markets, analyzing business opportunities and driving sales process to expand the business unit.
Develop and oversee plan for government relations support as it relates to program strategies and market introductions; meet with government officials to advance the company’s position. Negotiate contracts, initiate proposals, and close deals. Provide expertise on the healthcare industry, managed care, public sector and Medicaid programs.

REGIONAL MEDICAL DIRECTOR
The Regional Medical Officer is responsible for the clinical operations and all medical personnel within a designated region. As the organization expands, the Regional Medical Officer will be instrumental in the start-up of new regions.
Analytic- Proven background in financial and clinical data analysis. 
Problem solving abilities. Sufficient understanding of the UM/QM process. Superior presentation skills.
Motivational- Willingness to mentor and educate M.D.'s, N.P.'s etc.
Personal skills that include successful interaction with, and motivation of, clinical professionals both inside and outside of the organization. Willingness to travel and relocate. 
Responsibilities: Provide strategic and operational direction for the delivery of performance based medical management. Analyze and report business performance data to customers, senior management and the Board of Directors. Participate in the management of all the clinical divisions within the region. 
Develop and maintain strong provider relationships. Maintain a customer-driven passion for excellence and commitment to innovation and implementation of ideas that improve the healthcare of the patient population. Hire, develop, and reward staff to effectively support the company’s strategy. May be asked to perform clinical duties.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hospitalist. Strong background in internal medicine and/or pulmonology. Qualifications: Doctorate. (M.D.) Completion of residency program in the United States. Internal Medicine trained. 5+ Years of experience as a Hospitalist. 1-3 Years of administrative experience. Board Certification/Eligibility. CA license preferred. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL CONTRACTING
Ensure that national contracts are negotiated, implemented, and managed in accordance with Health Plan and Corporate requirements and State guidelines. Generate, execute, and implement contracts between specialty companies and health plans. Identify and implement national contracts to favorably impact the business needs of Health Plans and Specialty Companies. Oversee integration, on-going relationship, and contract management of national vendors. Perform duties to oversee the identification, negotiation, integration and on-going management of national and multi-site provider and subcontractor agreements. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area, or equivalent experience, and 5-8 years of contracting experience in healthcare or managed care environment. Knowledge of contracting language and principles of negotiation. Advanced degree preferred.
